Jayne Ann Cox, 65, of Muncie, died early Thursday morning, October 25th, 2012 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness. She was born July 7th, 1947 in Muncie, IN. and was the daughter of the late Leroy & June (Montross) Gayheart.

Jayne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved caring for and being with her family. She was an employee of Hillcroft Services, Inc. She was a member of the Gathering Church in Muncie.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 44 years, Joseph C. Cox; two children, Jennifer Cox of Las Vegas, NV and Daniel Cox of Albany, IN; three grandchildren, Nicholas Losh of Reno, NV., Madyson and Isabella Cox of Albany, IN.; step-mother, Bonnie Gayheart of Eaton, IN.; three sisters, Rebecca Gayheart of Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX, Laura Grider (Rick) of Dandridge, TN, and Rita Koger (John) of New Castle, IN; two brothers, Michael Gayheart (Ann) of Eaton, IN, Jeffrey Gayheart(Lori) of Muncie, IN; three step-brothers, David Grider of Eaton, IN., Rick Grider of Dandridge, TN., and Gary Grider (Leigh Ann) of Muncie, IN.; several nieces and nephews, and a host of many dear friends.

Funeral Services for Jayne, will be held Monday, October 29th , 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Joshua Brandt officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
