Jearldean Ault, 78, of Yorktown, IN died Sunday June 12, 2011 at the Waters of Yorktown. She was born on June 15, 1932 in Mathews, IN the daughter of Charles and Ruby (Curtis) Welsh. On March 12, 1949 she married Edgar Allen Ault.
She enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She attended the Grace United Methodist Church in Hartford City, IN. Jearldean retired in 1995 after working at Westminster Village for several years as a CNA. She was a graduate of Amber's Beauty School. She enjoyed camping.
Surviving relatives include three daughters, Jane Harris (husband: Tom) of Montpelier, IN; Micky Woods (husband: Bill) of Muncie, IN; Mary Gerstorff of Eaton, IN; one sister, Frances Murphy of Muncie, IN; five grandchildren, Craig Doughty of Roll, IN; Dustin Woods (wife: Jill) of Yorktown, IN; Tracy Dunford (husband: Greg) of Monticello, IN; Travis Ault of Berne, IN; Ryan Woods (wife: Jaime) of Columbia, IL; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday June 15, 2011 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer''s Association or the American Cancer Society.
