Jeff A. Clevenger, 50, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday evening, June 30, 2009, at Ball Memorial Hospital following a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was born, April 22, 1959, in Muncie the son of Dick and Mary Lou (Worl) Clevenger. He graduated from Cowan High School in 1977, and received an associate degree in commercial photography.
Jeff was employed at Borg-Warner for over 23 years.
He was raised in High Street United Methodist Church and has been a member of Bethany Christian Church in Anderson for 28 years. He was also involved in The Walk to Emmaus.
Jeff enjoyed his photography, attending his sons' sporting events, watching and cheering on the Colts, and his 11 month old grandson.
Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Nancy; three sons, David Clevenger (Bre), Pendleton, Daniel Clevenger and Aaron Clevenger, both of Yorktown; his grandson, Oakley Clevenger; his mother, Mary Lou Clevenger, Muncie; a brother, Steve Clevenger (Sherry), Broomfield, CO; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Scott and Ruth Dill, Fishers; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Dave Clevenger.
Services will be held in The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Mt. Pleasant Chapel, 7901 W. Isanogel Rd., Yorktown at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, with Bob Bell officiating.
Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Rd 3, Muncie, IN.
Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Mt. Pleasant Chapel from 4 until 8 p.m. on Monday or one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
