Jeffrey Wayne Blum, 37, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2011 in Homosassa Springs, FL. Jeff was born on November 28, 1973 in Muncie to Carlos E. and Linda S. (Miers) Blum. Jeff is a 1992 graduate of Yorktown High School.
Jeff was an LPN for 6+ years for Community Hospital in New Port Richey, FL. Jeff enjoyed the beaches and the civil war era. Above all, he loved his family to the fullest.
Jeff is survived by his 4 loving children: Jeffrey W. Blum II of Muncie; Jacob W. Blum (Clifton) and Reissen Blum (Clifton) both of West Lafayette; and Aiden N. Blum of Hudson, FL; wife Shelby J. Minnis Blum of Hudson, FL; mother Linda Warner (husband, David) of Port Richey, FL; father Carlos E. Blum (girlfriend, Becky) of Ashland, KY; brother Kaleb L. Warner of Port Richey, FL; sister Stephanie K. Jackson (husband, Scott) of Daleville; like-a-sister Tonia A. Stump of Muncie; grandparents Kenneth and Betty Downs of Yorktown; step-grandmothers: Racheal Dunmoyer of Muncie and Rose M. Warner (Sebert) of Niles, MI; and several uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Jeff was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Carlos E. Blum and Walter S. Miers; and grandmother Cloutine Blum.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of the family.
