Jenny L. Dishman Age 60

Jenny passed from this life Friday afternoon, July 26, 2013 at her home in Muncie, Indiana surrounded by family following a brief illness.

Jenny was born August 30, 1952 in Muncie, Indiana the daughter of Dewey Jr. And Irmgard ( Billie) Magner. Jenny graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1970.

April 5, 1975 Jenny married Rick L. Dishman of Muncie and they shared 38 years of marriage.

Jenny worked for Delaware Community School Corporation where she served the children of Delta Middle School for 36 years as a food service worker and cafeteria manager.

Aside from her work at the school Jenny enjoyed camping, travel and building special memories with her family. Her true passion was cooking. Jenny took great pride in providing meals for special occasions and family functions.

Jenny is survived by her husband Rick L. Dishman of Muncie, son Eric Dishman wife Marie of Muncie, son Tony Dishman wife Jeanette of Kansas City, Missouri, Grand children Payton age 15, Dalton age 14, Preston age 10 and Arika age 2, her mother Irmgard (Billie) Magner of Muncie, sister Abby (Magner) Maxwell of Muncie and many nieces and nephews.

Jenny was proceeded in death by her father Dewey Magner Jr. in 2003.

Mike Barnes of The Fairlawn Church of Christ where Jenny was a member will officiate the funeral ceremony held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 31, 2013 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 N. Indiana 3, Muncie, with calling one hour prior to service. Friends may also call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday July 30, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
