Jerry Thomas Harwick, 71, Anderson, IN, passed away Feb. 28, 2018, surrounded by his family at Community Hospital in Anderson.  A native of Muncie, IN, Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Anna and Pearl (Pete) Harwick, and his siblings Frank and Judy.

Jerry graduated in 1964 from Selma High School in Delaware County. After graduation he served our country as a radar technician in the United States Air Force, being deployed to Europe. He was honorably discharged in 1968.

Following his discharge, he returned to Muncie where he worked for the Midwest Towel Company. He later moved to California and Texas, where he and his wife, Judy, worked as truck drivers before retiring. The Harwicks returned to Indiana in 2013. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, following NASCAR racing, and visiting with friends and family.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Judy; his son Jason (Jessica) Harwick; grandchildren Kaylen and James Harwick; stepson Patrick (Tammy) McClung; step-grandchildren Steven, Breanna and Britney; and many cousins and friends.

Military honors will be conducted by the United States Air Force and the Delaware County Honor Guard.
