Jesse J. Barbosa, 55, passed away Friday, February 22, 2008 at his residence in Parker City.
He was born December 17, 1952, in Muncie, the son of Richard and Sylvia (Powaga) Barbosa, and graduated from Muncie Central High School. Jesse was a job supervisor for the Indiana Department of Transportation where he had been employed thirty-five years.
Surviving are his daughter, Serena Loveall, (husband, Ryan), Knightstown; two sons, Jason Barbosa, (wife, Amanda), Muncie, and Thomas Barbosa, (wife, Devon), Muncie; two sisters, Linda Ryza, (husband, Peter), Tracy, CA, and Jeannie Hermerding, (husband, Paul), Indianapolis; brother, James Barbosa, (wife, Irene), Muncie; and eight and one/half grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Parson Mortuary with Deacon Peter Ryza officiating.
Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday or an hour prior to the services Tuesday at Parson Mortuary
