Jocelyn Sue Watson, age 77, of Muncie, passed away Tuesday August 2, 2011 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born April 9, 1934 in Gaston, IN to Wayne C. and Marietta W. (Brubaker) Brown. She graduated with the Class of 1952 from Harrison Township High School and work many years as a cashier. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and loved to garden, watch TV and spend time with her family.
Jocelyn is survived by her brothers, Bill Brown and wife Junice, of Muncie, David Brown and wife Pamela, of Farmland, and Michael Brown and wife Cynthia, of Muncie; sister, Lana Davis and husband Dalton, of North Judson; nephews Doug Brown and wife Renee, of Farmland, Greg Brown of Parker City, and Dwayne Davis of Knox, IN; nieces, Nora Kay Huffman of Muncie, and Mary Ann Davis of North Judson. She was preceded in death by her parents, nephews, Rick Brown, Adam Davis, Scott Chamberlain, and niece, Penny Brown.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd. 3 Muncie, IN 47303 with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation is from Noon until service time.
