Jody Moyer, 77, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away on September 21, 2025, at Brickyard Healthcare Center in Muncie. Mrs. Moyer was born on October 16, 1947, in Anderson, Indiana, but lived most of her life in Muncie.  She was a 1966 graduate of Muncie Central High School where she met her late husband, Joseph Moyer. In 1968 she married her best friend, and they were happily married for 48 years.

Jody and her husband were avid Bearcat fans and loved watching their grandkids football games, volleyball games, and band concerts at Muncie Central. The beach was her favorite place to vacation. Every year she looked forward to traveling with her family to Florida and making memories at the beach. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her two children; daughter Heather (Jeff) Ruddick; Son John (Angie) Moyer; five grandchildren Brady Terrell (Jessica Shopher), Allison Ruddick (Jake Barnette), Joseph R. Moyer, Melissa Alvarez, and Jeremy Ruddick; three great-grandchildren Brody Terrell, Meliana Alvarez and Gabriella Alvarez.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Moyer; her parents John and Bea Cooper and great-grandson Kaiden Hernandez.

A visitation will be held on October 1, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie, Indiana 47303. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Josh Johnson, also at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10701 North State Road 3, Muncie, Indiana 47303.
