Mrs. Josephine Himes, , 93, passed away on March 8, 2022. She was born August 9, 1928 in Leechburg, PA. She was the daughter of the late Delfina & Mary (Sienza) Tira. She was married to Glen R. Himes who preceded her in death on February 16, 2016.

She was a stay at home mom and wife who loved gardening and the outdoors, she loved bird watching out her kitchen window.

Josephine is survived by two sons, Larry and Henry Himes, both of Selma, IN. one daughter Anna Roberson of Plant City, FL, one granddaughter Shawna Roberson of Plant City, FL, two great grandchildren Austin Smith and Tira Thompson and two great great grandchildren Brayden and Magnolia Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Glen R. Himes, three brothers John, twin Joseph and Delfina Tira; three sisters Rosa Ainsley, Catherine (Dolly) Krafick and Elizabeth (Betty) McGown; grandson Shannon Roberson.

Calling will be Monday March 14, 2022 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at Garden View Funeral Home. Service will be at 1 P.M. at Garden View  Funeral Home with burial to follow at Gardens of Memory .
