John Mark Beaty, 46, passed away Friday evening, July 17, 2009, at the Golden Living Center.
He was born January 29, 1963, in Muncie, the son of Quentin and Elizabeth "June" (Thomas) Beaty.
He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Surviving is his mother, Elizabeth "June" Beaty, of Muncie; four sisters, Linda Beaty, of Houston, Texas, Carol Beaty, of Muncie, Nancy Zearbaugh, of Muncie, and his twin sister, Julie Johnson, of Gaston; two brothers, Christopher Beaty, (wife, Cynthia), of Huntsville, Ohio, and Timothy Beaty, of Muncie; eight nieces and nephews; his aunt, Ella Taylor, Jamestown, Tennessee; three uncles, Boyd Beaty, of Muncie, Roger Beaty, of Selma, and Warren Beaty, of Hamilton, Ohio; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Quentin Beaty, who died in 2006, and his brother, Thomas Matthew Beaty, who died in 1960.
Father Dennis Goth will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Rd 3, Muncie, IN.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday and from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Parson Mortuary.
A Scripture Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. , at the mortuary, on Monday.
