John Richard Bizzell, 83, of Muncie, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday morning, August 9th, 2012 at his residence. He was born November 7th, 1928 in Sikeston, MO., and was the son of the late Clarence & Blanche (Carr) Bizzell. John retired in 1991 from Muncie Tree Surgery, as a foreman after 40 years of service. He was a member of the First Brethren Church. He enjoyed and loved being with his family. He is survived by his three children; son Mike (Diane) Bizzell of Muncie; two daughters, Gloria Runkel and Karen (Charles Allen) Jones, both of Muncie; seven grandchildren, Patrick (Lisa) Runkel of Muncie, Michael (Allyson) Runkel of Muncie, Brad Bizzell of Yorktown, Michelle Burton (Fiance-Jeremy) of Muncie, Rick (Heather) Jones of Muncie, Rhonda Jones of Muncie, and Vickie (Cliff) Winegar of Muncie; Eleven great-grandchildren; a brother Walter Bizzell of Sikeston, MO. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Louise (Dunn) Bizzell in 2006; a son-in-law, Charles Runkel. Funeral Services for John will be held Monday, August 13th, 2012 @ 12:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Friends and Family may call Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
