John H. Rhonemus, age 73, of Muncie passed away on Sunday June 28, 2015 at his residence. Born on November 9, 1941 in Muncie, he was the son of Hubert and Betty J. (Ruggles) Rhonemus.
John was a lifetime resident and attended local schools. He was a graduate of Royerton High School, Class of 1959. On January 20, 1963 John married Pamela Freeman in Muncie.
John''s working career was spent as a union brick mason. He was a member of The Jar Community Church and Mason''s union Local# 19.
Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years Pamela Rhonemus of Muncie; daughter Johnna Oliver of Muncie; son Ritchie Rhonemus of Selma; grandchildren Casey Oliver of Las Vegas, NV and Joshua Rhonemus of Selma; and brother Dean Rhonemus (Mary Lavelle) of Muncie.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Betty J. Rhonemus; brother Joseph Rhonemus; and sister Rose Goodwin.
Funeral services for John will be held at 1:00p.m. on Wednesday, July 1st, 2015 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 N. Indiana 3, Muncie with Pastor John Bunch officiating, calling will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in memory of John may be made to the American Cancer Society or JAR Community Church.
