Johnnie Shephard Isenburg, 67 of Muncie, died early Saturday morning, February 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born March 31, 1950 in Scottsville, KY and was the son of the late Charlie Ray & Lizzie Jane (Neighbors) Isenburg.

Johnnie was an avid fisherman. He loved being outdoors. Johnnie was on several bowling leagues in the past. He proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army. Johnnie retired from New Venture Gear.

Johnnie is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Eddie Kay Isenburg (Koger) of Muncie; two sons Marc Dewayne Isenburg (Angela) of Redkey and Jonathan Matthew Isenburg of Alcoa, TN; three daughters April Dawn Brooks (Joshua) of Seymour, TN,  Sheila Kay Morgan of Walland, TN, and Rosie Irene Harris (Billy) of Muncie; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; four sisters Mary Sue Kirkwood (Louis) of Spencer, Freda Gale Cox (Clarence) of Muncie, Sandra Lynn Nixon (Joseph) of Muncie and Brenda Kay Isenburg-Nixon of Muncie; four brothers Joe Frank Isenburg (Terri) of Alexandria, Carl Wallace Isenburg (Elizabeth) of Muncie, Ricky Lee Isenburg of Spencer and Charles Randall Isenburg of Muncie. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Janice Carol Clemons and a brother Henry Odell Isenburg.

Burial with military honors being conducted by the United States Army and the Delaware County Honor Guard will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
