Joni Lea Miller, age 65, passed away peacefully at her home on May 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Muncie, Indiana, Joni spent several years working in sales and was known for her warm personality and dedication to those she loved. She had a deep affection for animals—especially her beloved dogs and cats—and found great joy in fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Joni is survived by her devoted husband, Raymond Miller; her mother, Carolyn Elliott; her brother Kenny (Tammy) Shackelfurd; Travis (Autumn) Shackelfurd; and her sister Rachel Keeley. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces: Aryiel (Andrew), Hannah (George), and Audrey. Joni was loved by many and will be dearly missed by her extended family and countless friends.

She was preceded in death by Candy Shackelfurd.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, IN 47303.
