Joseph Harold Brown, 86, of Wawaka, Indiana, went to be with his Lord, Monday morning, July 13th, 2015 at his home. He was born October 14th, 1928 in Knoxville, TN and was the son of the late Thomas Levi & Cora Lee (Boring) Brown.
Joseph retired from General Motors in Muncie after 35 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed fishing, antique airplanes and tractors, and was an avid reader.
Joseph is survived by his children; three sons Harold E. Brown (Paulette) of Muncie, Kenneth G. Brown (Carolyn) of Selma and Wade H. Brown of Muncie; four daughters Linda S. Brown of Wawaka, Betty J. Morganthaler (Michael) of Wawaka, Leca L. Arnold (Jerry) of Farmington, MI, and Kathy J. Everetts of Kimmell, IN; eighteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Ellen Brown, a daughter Mary Lou Brown, a son William Thomas David Brown, a great-grandson Mason Nichols; two brothers and eight sisters also preceded him in death.
Funeral Services for Joseph will be held Thursday, July 16th, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Pastor Randall Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m..
