Joseph Wright Heath, age 84, passed away on November 2nd, 2023 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana, with friends and family by his bedside.  Joe was born on August 13th, 1939 in Daleville, Indiana to his parents Ralph T. Heath and Lucile J. Heath (Wright).

Joe graduated from Daleville High School in 1957. Joe worked as a bread salesman for the Muncie Bread Company for 40 years.  In his entire career, he only missed 7 days of work. Joe loved working in his yard and feeding his birds.  In his later years he enjoyed sitting outside in the sun on his porch.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Janet K. Heath (Fritz); a son Kevin J. Heath; a daughter Carol Ann Heath; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Heath and Lucile Heath.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Garden View Funeral Home and a private service has been scheduled for a later date. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
