Joseph F. Huffman, 44, of Muncie, In died at 9:10 a.m. Monday October 22, 2007 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He was born on February 28, 1963 in Muncie the son of Samuel Fredrick Huffman, Jr. and Martha (Deaton) Huffman. He graduated from Delta High School in 1981 and also graduated from Lincoln Tech in 1983.
Joseph previously worked for Easy Go in Fort Wayne, IN.
Surviving relatives include his mother, Martha Huffman of Muncie; four sisters, Penny S. Winchester of Muncie; Peggy L. Smith of Muncie; Polly A. Hensley of Jacksonville, FL; Patty J. Huffman - Gray (husband: Shaughn) of Ft. Wayne, IN; ten nieces, three nephews, two great nieces, and one great nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Fredrick Huffman and one sister Pamela K. Grunden.
Services are scheduled 2:00 p.m. on Saturday October 27, 2007 at Union Chapel Ministries 4622 N. Broadway Ave Muncie, IN. Pastor Jason Miner will officiate the service. Burial will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and one hour prior to services at 2:00 p.m. Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation in memory of Joseph F. Huffman.
