Joyce Marie Case of Muncie, Indiana passed away peacefully with family by her side at Signature HealthCARE in Muncie at the age of 88 late Thursday, December 2, 2021. She was born in Muncie on July 21, 1933 to the late Adam and Goldie (Campbell) Crone.

Joyce will be forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She married Edward Case on June 25, 1955 in Muncie, and they journeyed through life together until his passing. Joyce was an avid cook and enjoyed traveling, singing, and playing cards and board games. She was very active with Industry United Methodist Church in Muncie and was a member of Eastern Star. She managed the school cafeteria for Muncie Community Schools for more than 30 years.

Joyce is survived by her son, Steven A. Case (Debra) of Muncie; daughter, Patricia Ann Lephart (Dave) of Alexandria, Indiana; brother, Bruce Crone (Jane) of Muncie; sister, Dianna Dudley Jones of Muncie; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Goldie (Campbell) Crone; husband, Edward Case; and sister, Mary Harley.

The family has requested that masks be worn by visitors. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie with funeral services immediately following at 2:00 PM, also in the Funeral Home, officiated by Steve Graves. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Industry United Methodist Church, 1912 S.
