Joyce Rose Ann (Boltz) Harshbarger, age 85, a resident of Lynn, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, peacefully in her home surrounded by family.

Joyce was born at home on October 20, 1940, in Dunkirk, Indiana, the daughter of William Harold Boltz Sr. and Tressa Gwendolyn (Andars) Boltz.

Joyce had multiple occupations in life but being a Mother was her passion and greatest achievement. She is the loving mother to six children, Blair Linnell Hart, Michael Rodney Cline (wife Lisa), David Ryan Cline (wife Lee Ann), Kathryn Jane Wright (husband Brad), and Tonya Jo Cornelius (husband Jim); and grandmother to 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren; and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Harshbarger; daughter, Betty Louann Wilhelm; sons-in-law, Thomas Wilhelm and Tony Hart; three grandsons, Gary “Bub” McCowan, John Barrett, and Caleb Cornelius, and her five siblings; Betty, Bill, George, Kate, and Barb.

The family will receive visitors from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, IN 47303.

An additional visitation with be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday, August 20, 2026, with a service following to celebrate Joyce’s life at 11:00am.

Entombment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Muncie.
