Joyce Shaffer of Muncie, Indiana passed away at the age of 83 the evening of Sunday, September 12, 2021 at home. She was born on July 2, 1938 in Muncie to the late Earl and Lois Lounsbury.

Joyce worked in production for Duffy Tool and Stamping. She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.

Joyce is survived by one son, Jeffery Gene Shaffer of Fairmount, Indiana; three daughters, Vickie Dunn of Freeport, Illinois, Kim Schneauer (David) of Florida, and Jo Ann Shaffer of Muncie; one brother, Butch Lounsbury (Patsy) of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sisters, Penny of Illinois and Patty of California; five grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Lois Lounsbury; one son, Darrell Shaffer; and one sister, Jeri Jo Worlow.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 1:00 PM in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 North State Road 3, Muncie. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Garden View Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.gardenviewandgardensofmemory.com .
