Juanita Eldora King, 91, of Muncie, IN died Monday June 14, 2010 at her residence. She was born on August 24, 1918 the daughter of Samuel and Lydia (Hileman) Grim. She married Elmer L. King in December of 1948. Elmer preceded her in death on November 6, 1988.
She was a member of the Avondale United Methodist Church in Muncie. She was active in the church with the United Methodist Women''s. She participated in the church choir for over 75 years.
Surviving relatives include two daughters, Stephanie A. Brooks of Muncie, IN; Melanie L. Boyle of Muncie, IN; three sisters, Gwenlynn Hall; Jacquita Gardener; Bernadene Grim all of Muncie, IN; one grandson, Cardell L. Frye, Jr. (Teresa) of Muncie, IN; and one great-granddaughter, Sienna Frye and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday June 17, 2010 at Avondale United Methodist Church 1314 W. 10th St. Muncie, IN. Pastor Frank Jones will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday June 16, 2010 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN.
