Judy A. Vance, 57 of Anderson passed away suddenly Wednesday October 31, 2012 at her residence. She was born November 22, 1954 to Carson and Opal (Lamb) Johnson in Sneedville, Tennessee. Judy was employed until recently as an environmental services technician at Community Hospital Anderson, where she worked for 15 years. She was married to Terry Vance on April 7, 1975 in Sneedville, Tennessee. Judy was also a former member of Swan Creek Baptist Church in Sneedville, Tennessee.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 37 years Terry Vance of Anderson, Ind.; 2 daughters Valerie (Chris) Myers of Indianapolis and Elizabeth (Ryan) Wallace of West Lafayette, Ind.; 2 grandchildren Gabrielle Marlett of Daleville, Ind. and Collin Myers of Indianapolis; father Carson Johnson of Sneedville, Tenn. 2 sisters Betty Jo Seabolt of New Tazewell, Tenn. And Sherry Dinardi of Kingsport, Tenn.; 3 brothers Carl Johnson and Billy Johnson, both of Sneedville, Tenn. and Lowell Johnson of New Tazewell, Tenn.; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Opal Johnson.
Friends may call from 2-6 pm on Sunday November 4, 2012 at Garden View Funeral Home, Muncie.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday November 5, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
