Julia Evans, 89, of Mogadore Ohio passed away on Thursday August 14, 2008. She was born on July 25, 1919 the daughter of Glenn and Alma Carter (Dickison). She married her husband Clifford Evans on May 27, 1939 in Elwood Indiana.
Julia was a loving wife and mother who made some of the best chicken soup.
Surviving relatives include two daughters Jane Chaffins of Magadore, OH; Wanda Arnold of Muncie, IN; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grand daughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughter Leona Coil and Nancy Kugler; two brothers, Ethel Carter and Ralph Carter; three sisters Ruth McKinney, Janette Delph, Freeda Evans.
Service will at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 20, 2008 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 N. State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 19, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Pastor Dennis Trimble will officiate the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice Care Center 3358 Ridgewood Drive Akron, Ohio.
