Justin York (1973–2025)
Heaven gained one more angel this morning. Justin York passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the Indiana University Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis after a courageous battle with cancer.

Justin lived a vibrant and adventurous life. He enjoyed entering all kinds of contests—and usually won! He loved going to casinos, traveling with his beloved husband Christopher, and spending time with their cherished dogs, Hank and Winston. Justin worked as a pharmacy technician from high school onward, dedicating his career to helping others.

He is survived by his loving husband, Christopher York; his mother, Marshia Cunningham; stepfather, Jeff Cunningham; brother, Jasen York; aunts Lavonna (Ed) Goodman, Anita (Allen) Jones, uncle JC (Sharon) York, and Vickie (Bill) Stille; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Justin was preceded in death by his father, James York; brother, Jeff York; and grandparents Kirby and Mary York, and Barbara and Dale Vanskyock.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, Indiana 47303.
Interment will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie at a later date.
