Karen Ann Piner, 62, of Muncie, died early Sunday morning at her residence. She was born February 8th, 1953 in Muncie and was the daughter of the late Donald & Geraldine (Wagner) Harter.
Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She loved to travel and go on family activities. Karen loved to play bingo and go to the casino.
Karen is survived by her loving husband Philip Piner of Muncie; a son Samuel Moore Jr. (Meredith Straughn) of Wichita, KS.; three daughters Angel Monroe (Terry) of Muncie, Melinda Hamilton of Charlotte, NC, and Adrianne Piner of Muncie; seven grandchildren, Philip Allen Keesling, Chelsea Moore, Jade Moore, Bradley Lewis, Adam Monroe, Lilly and Brandon Straughn; two great-grandchildren; a sister Kathy Calamusa (Joseph) of Noblesville; two very close friends Nancy Wilson of Muncie and Patsy Whiting of Canada; several cousins also survive.
Funeral Services for Karen will be held Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Rick Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor''s choice.
