Kathie M. Scott, 63, of Parker City, IN died March 22, 2012 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. She was born on February 23, 1949 in Muncie, IN the daughter of Vernon and Opal (Swallow) Davison. She graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1967 and the Muncie School of Practical Nursing in 1981. She married Richard J. Scott who preceded her in death on October 27, 2003. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great friend. She worked as a nurse at Muncie Health Care for over 20 years and enjoyed caring for others. Surviving relatives include one son, Charles E. Brooks, II (Denise Holt) of Parker City, IN; two step daughters, Shannon Scott of Yorktown, IN; Megan Scott of Plymouth, IN; one sister, Andria Sue Peterson (Jim) of Holiday, FL; ten grandchildren, Aaron Brooks (fianc, Caytlyn Turner), Kortney Brooks, Jacob Brooks, Willie Connors, Jeffery Holt, Kevin Holt, Kierston Kreischer, Kendra Kreischer, Zoey Scott, Mazie Scott; four great-grandchildren, Lucas Connors, Trevan Holt, Bryson Holt, William Kingston Connors; and best friend, Linda Rockwell. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Donald Franklin Davison, and one grandson, Zachery Brooks. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday March 26, 2012 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN.
