Kelly D. Epperson, 55, of Muncie, IN, gained his wings on Friday, November 1, 2024.
Kelly was born on October 4, 1969, in Muncie, Indiana, to Archie W. "Bill" and Patsy J. (Cope) Epperson. He was a 1988 graduate of Southside High School, where he participated in the ROTC program. After graduation, Kelly worked at Peking Restaurant and Pizza King before retiring from Millennium Place Apartments.
Kelly was a kind and gentle soul, known for treating everyone like family. He enjoyed camping, fishing, visiting the casino, and, most importantly, spending time with his loved ones. His warm heart and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his father, Archie W. "Bill" Epperson Jr.; his son, Aaron Epperson; three brothers, William Epperson (Kristian), Lonnie Epperson (Charlene), and Scott Epperson (Shauna); one sister, Lisa Clark (Ronald); several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a special friend, Dora Epperson.
Kelly was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy J. (Cope) Epperson; his grandparents; and one nephew, Ethan Beard.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, IN. A Celebration of Life will follow on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Forest Park Nazarene Church, 2105 West Memorial Drive, Muncie, IN 47302.
