Kenneth Keeler, 84, passed away Friday, February 5, 2010 at Ball Memorial Hospital.
He was born February 27, 1925 in Hartford City, the son of Byron and Lennie (Stringer) Keeler. Kenneth attended Muncie Central High School.
Mr. Keeler was a WWII Veteran, having served as a medic in the Army 4th Infantry Division.
He worked for Ontario Corporation, and was married to Phyllis (Bailey) Keeler for 63 years.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Phyllis Keeler, Muncie; his three children, Sandra Campbell (husband-Clifton), Muncie; Kathryn Bice (husband-William), Portland, and Phil Keeler (wife Dixie), Muncie; eleven grandchildren, Karla Bauman, Stacey Dunmoyer, Gregory Bice, Shelley Furguson, Jason Bice, Kendra Furr, Chad Campbell, Brian Campbell, Kyle Campbell, Brandon Campbell, and Kristopher Keeler; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; all of his brothers; one grandson, Kevin Keeler; and one great-grandson, Tyler Campbell.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, with Pastor Hugh Kelley officiating.
Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Rd 3, Muncie, with Military Rites provided by Veterans of Delaware County Honor Guard.
