MUNCIE - Larry D. Eastman, 64, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011, at his residence.
He was born February 2, 1947 in Kansas, the son of Russell and Esther Bartle.
He graduated in 1965 from Harrison High School and then served four years in the United States Air Force. Larry began his employment with Marsh Warehouse and retired in February 2009 after forty years of service.
Survivors include his wife of thirty five years, Sharon (Thurnau) Eastman; two daughters, Nicole Skiles and Kelly Wright; his grandchildren, Ethan, Riley, and Balin; two son-in-laws, Randy and James and very special friends, Floyd and Pat Vollie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Russell Bartle Jr.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2011 at The Meeks Mortuary, Mt. Pleasant Chapel, 7901 W. Isanogel Road, with Rev's Elaina Salmon and James Hilleson officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, north of Muncie. Military rites will be by the Veterans of Delaware County.
