Larry L. Stout, of Muncie, IN, passed on October 29, 2022, in Muncie, surrounded by his family following an extended illness.

Larry was born on August 31, 1945 in Muncie, IN to Guy and Margaret Stout. Larry graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1963. On July 2, 1971 Larry married the love of his life, Phyllis (Hill) Stout. Together they raised four sons, Larry was an avid OTR truck driver, fisherman, and camper. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the AMVETS. Larry owned and operated L. S. Transport , Inc. for 25 years.

In Larry's 77 years of life he accumulated quite the family who loved him dearly. He leaves behind his wife Phyllis of 51 years and their four children to cherish his memory; Jeff Dishman (wife: Audra), Michael Dishman (wife: Raquel), David Dishman (wife: Kelly), and Brian Dishman (wife: Kris); as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Larry is also survived by his sister, Yvonne (husband: Don) DeWees and his beloved dog, Sophie.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Family and friends will be celebrating the life of Larry Stout on Friday, November 4th from 11:00 to 1:00 P.M.  at Garden View Funeral Home at 10501 N. St. Rd. 3, Muncie, IN 47303. Service will be at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Glenn Greiner officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens Of Memory with Military Graveside Rites.
