Larry Joe Weems passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at the age of 75 at his residence in Parker City, IN. He was born on January 7, 1946 to the late Clarence D. Weems and Ida Pearl (Burks) Weems in Muncie, IN.

Larry graduated from high school and served in the United States Army. He married Sandy (Sanders) Weems in Fairview, IN on August 21, 1974. He worked for over 25 years as a Laborer at Borg-Warner. He was a member of the American Legion #437 in Selma, IN. He attended Selma Christ United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time at Whispering Willow Farms.

Larry is survived by his wife, Sandy (Sanders) Weems of Parker City, IN; children, Kristine J. (Weems) Varney (Jeff) of Lawrenceville, GA, Marc A. Weems (Tammy Thrasher) of Muncie, IN, Jason D. Pierce of Noblesville, IN, Tyson D. Weems (Lindsey) of Selma, IN, and Amber K (Weems) Robinson (Matthew) of Parker City, IN; sisters, Shirley Faulkner (Rodney) of Parker City, IN and Rhonda King (Mike) of Muncie, IN; brother-in-law, Gary Craig; mother-in-law, Marybelle Sanders; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence D. Weems and Ida Pearl (Burks) Weems and sister, Darlene Craig.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie with funeral services immediately following at 2:00 PM, also in the Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Dennis Rush and Pastor Edward L.
