Lee H. McClurg, 85, of Muncie, IN passed away March 20, 2007 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born on May 12, 1921 in Morehead, Kentucky to the late William and Nora McClurg.
Lee retired from Westinghouse Corporation after 18 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II. He attended Halteman Village Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include his wife of 60 years, Billie McClurg; one grandson, Daniel McClurg of San Antonio, TX; sister-in-law, Elfreda McClurg of Gaston; brothers-in-law, Louis Massie (wife - Ann) of Louisiana and Howard Massie (wife - Rosalie) of Louisiana; and several nieces and nephews. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons, Jerry and Don McClurg; 3 sisters, and 4 brothers.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Friday, March 23, 2007 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie, IN with Pastor Dr. Ron Ross officiating. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Halteman Village Baptist Church, 4100 North Oakwood, Muncie, IN 47304. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
