Lela McDonald, 88, of Muncie, passed away on August 29, 2025, at Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 12, 1937, in Jamestown, Tennessee, to the late Winford and Ethal King (Cooper) Leazenby.

Lela had a love for flowers and cherished the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by her sisters, Mildred Woodruff and Treva Taylor; and her
several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Winford and Ethal King (Cooper) Leazenby; her husband, Ray McDonald; and her daughter Debbie Stewart; sister Rille Gregory Bowden, and brother Ralph Cooper.

Services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon officiated by Pastor Larry Waters at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, Indiana 47303.
