LeMoyne D. (Moe) Altic, 74, went to be with Lord on April 3, 2016 at 10:20 a.m. after a lengthy illness. He was born May 28, 1941 in Frankfort, Indiana to William A. and Verneda F. ( Stewart) Altic. He graduated from Frankfort High School in 1959. LeMoyne retired from Duffy Tool and Stamping in 1992 after more than 26 years of service. He was a member of Sunnyside Church of God, New Castle, Indiana and Zion Hill Church of God, Benton, Arkansas.
LeMoyne loved all sports especially golf, hosting many golfing buddies in his Arkansas home. He traveled extensively and visited all 50 states and many foreign countries by plane, train, ship, bus and car. He loved to spend time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
LeMoyne is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Powell Altic and his children; Lori Harsin (husband Morris), Indianapolis, Indiana; Victor Altic, Muncie, Indiana; James Woolums, Greenfield, Indiana; Douglas Woolums (wife Jami) Blue Springs, Missouri and Brian Woolums (Wife Beth) Greencastle, Indiana; grandchildren, Honorary Pallbearers; Kristin, Tyler and Megan Altic; Jason and Jackson Woolums; Douglas, Amanda and Chris Woolums; Holly, Lucas and Nathan Woolums; and great grandchildren; Jamel and Aaliyah Barnes, Roman LeMoyne Wilkins, Dylan and Deagan Altic , Shea Woolums, Nathan Borchard, and Olivia Woolums; nephews Kevin Wright and Arland Altic.
LeMoyne was preceded in death by his parents William and Verneda Altic, brother Donnie Altic and sister Betty Wright.
A funeral service will be Thursday April 7th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N State Road 3, Muncie, 47303 with Pastor Jeffrey Green officiating. Interment will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, adjacent to Garden View funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 6th, 2016 at Garden View Funeral Home.
Pall Bearers will be Brent Peek, Victor Altic, James Woolums, Douglas Woolums, Brian Woolums and Morris Harsin.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or IU Health BMH Hospice Respite unit.
