Lena M. Lambert, 97, of Eaton, In: passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022. She was born on July 24, 1924, in New Castle, to the late Ora and Alice (Ritchie) Zirkle. She retired from Lambert Service Station where she worked with her husband, as a bookkeeper. She married the late Gene Lambert on October 26, 1944.
Lena was a loving mother raising four kids with her husband Gene, she was an avid golfer, bowler. She was an aide on the handicap bus for Delcom School Corporation. Retiring at 85.
Lena is survived by a sister, Velma Mountcastle, sons, Steven G. Lambert(Lisa) of Centerville, Ohio; Billy J. Lambert (Amy)of Burlington, Kentucky:: Anthony R. Lambert(Rene) of Lebanon, Ohio: Daughter: Janet L. Rogers of Poneto, Indiana; 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Lena was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters Margaret Spearman, Viola Walters, Lillian Howell, Mary Joann Jones; brothers Harold W. Zirkle and George Zirkle.
Visitation will be Friday, March 11, 2022 from 11 to 1 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, services will follow 1 P.M. at the funeral home, 10501 North State Road 3. There will be no graveside service. Her choice of charity is the cancer society or the charity of your choice.
