Lenora Frances (Clary) Hall, 89, went to be with the Lord Tuesday morning, March 9, 2010 at the Renaissance Rehabilitation Center follow an extended illness.
She was born in Elwood, IN on August 12, 1920 the daughter of Carl and Goldie (Fincher) Clary, moved to Muncie in 1930 and attended Blaine Elementary School. She graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1938 and married Charles W. Hall on November 4, 1939.
Mrs. Hall was employed at Carman's Drive-in for twenty years and also at Ball Memorial Hospital in the dietary department.
She was a longtime member of Avondale United Methodist Church and Women's League. Her joy in life was her grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Larry Hall (wife, Linda), Yorktown and William Hall, Muncie; two daughters, Carolyn Atchley and Nancy Hill (husband, Bill), both of Muncie; her brother, James Clary (wife, Doris), Muncie; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including Mickie Kruger and Mac Clary.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of fifty-seven years, Charles W. Hall; a daughter, Lillian Ann Stewart; a son, Jack Hall; a son-in-law, Jim Atchley, Sr., and three brothers, Gilbert Frederich, Carl Lewis, and Howard Clary.
Services will be held in The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 12, 2010 with Pastor W. Frank Jones, Jr. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie.
Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
