Leon Glaze - 79, a loving husband, dad, papaw and friend passed away peacefully on March 8, 2024 with family and friends by his side.
He was born in Muncie, IN on April 6, 1944 to the late Donald and Carolyn Mueller and was a long time resident of Gaston, IN. Leon graduated from Gaston School in 1962. After high school he entered the United States Air Force where he served for 4 years.
Leon is survived by his wife Shirley of 59 years, children, Tammy, Kevin (Donna), and Nikki.
Grandchildren, Kelsi (Dillon), Devin, Macy, Karli, and Dawson. He has two great grandchildren, Kynleigh and Stiorra.
He worked for Baker Concrete for 48 years and was a member of American Legion Post 387. His passions in life included spending time with family/friends and fishing.  He was an avid fisherman, loved camping and all his friends at Prairie Creek Reservoir. Everyone who knew Leon heard a fishing story or two.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Donald and Carolyn, his sister Patty, brother Jerry, a brother in law Andy, and a sister in law Shelby. We will always carry your memory in our heart and you will be forever missed.
Visitation will be Thursday March 14 at Garden View funeral Home, located on 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie IN 47303, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM and services will also be held at the same location on Friday March 15, 2024, with Pastor John Long officiating. There will also be a short visitation from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am.
