Leslie (Nunley) Chaney, 31, of Portland, IN died Monday March 28, 2011 at her grandmother''s residence in Parker City, IN. She was born on March 26, 1980 the daughter of Joe David Nunley and Melinda (Simpson) Rust. She graduated from Southside High School in 1998.
She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed shopping.
Surviving relatives include her father, Joe David Nunley of Muncie, IN; mother, Melinda Rust (Mark) of Portland, IN; one son, Josiah Nunley of Parker City, IN; grandparents, Bob and Faye Barker of Parker City, IN; Wilma Hahn of Muncie, IN; sister, Elain Desire'' Cossey (Michael) of Searcy, AR; brother, Matthew Nunley (Marie) of Parker City, IN; three nephews, Kaleb Nunley, Ethan Johnson, and Cole Cossey.
She was preceded in death by grandfathers, Charles Hahn and Lucus Robert Eugene Simpson.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday April 1, 2011 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Pastor Justin Wallen will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m..
