Leslie N. Rodgers

Leslie N. Rodgers, 80, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Hartford City, Indiana, on April 13, 1944, to the late Kenneth and Hazel Rodgers, Leslie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
Leslie was married to his beloved wife, Nola Rodgers, for 60 years. Together, they shared a life full of love, joy, and cherished memories. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964 and was a passionate motorcycle enthusiast. Leslie loved spending time fishing, traveling to Florida, and enjoying the outdoors. Above all, he was a man of faith who loved the Lord and found joy in attending church.
Leslie is survived by his devoted wife, Nola; sons Mark Rodgers and Jerry Walker; daughters Leslie Wagley, Lori Slater, and Zera Garrett; sisters Patricia Abbott and Sarah Walker; as well as a large extended family, including numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends who will miss him dearly.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, IN 47303. Military honors will be presented at the funeral home.
