Levi David Funkhouser, 2 weeks, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born November 4, 2010, in Muncie, the son of Caleb Funkhouser and Angela James.
Levi was a true fighter. Although he was only on Earth for two weeks, his memory will last forever.
He is survived by his parents, one brother, Cayden Funkhouser; one sister, Alexah James; his paternal grandmother, Lisa Edwards (husband-Eric); his paternal grandfather, David Funkhouser; his maternal grandmother, Karen Cunliffe; maternal grandfather, George Ferhenbach, three aunts, Hannah Funkhouser, Hollie Funkhouser and Danielle Ferhenbach; two uncles, Cason Funkhouser and Eric Edwards Jr., several cousins; several great aunts and great uncles and his great grandparents.
Services will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, with Pastor Rusty Clements officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, north of Muncie.
Family and friends may call Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
