Lillie "LIL" Dudley, 76, died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
She was born in White County, Georgia, August 1, 1934, the daughter of Oscar and Maudie Randolph.
Lil enjoyed crocheting, reading, animals and cooking.
She is survived by her daughter, Billie May, (husband, Mark), Fayetteville, Georgia; three grandsons, Anthony Dudley, Jeff Dudley and Mark Dudley; five great grandsons and one great-great-grandson; one sister, Christine Young, Sparta, Tennessee; several nephews and nieces, including a special niece, Linda Stedam; and her beloved cats, Penny and Noel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Dudley; a step-son, William Lawrence Dudley; two brothers, Orville and James Randolph; and two sisters, Dorothy Williams and Geneva Aynes.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2011, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel with Pastor Rusty Clements officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, north of Muncie.
Family and friends may call Thursday, January 20, 2011, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. or one hour prior to service time on Friday.
