Obituary

Lillie B. Moore, 84, went to be with the Lord Saturday morning, July 31, 2010, at Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born September 9, 1925 in Bowling Green, KY the daughter of Brady and Elizabeth (Connor) Horton, moved to Indianapolis as a child and attended Ben Davis High School, then moved to Muncie in 1944.
Mrs. Moore was a member of Avondale Sympathy Club, a past president of Roosevelt Mothers Club, and a former member of Eagles Lodge #231 Auxiliary. She was an avid fisherman, Lillie enjoyed spending her summers at Leidy Lake, Colon, MI. On rainy days her indoor pastimes were euchre and bingo.
Surviving are her daughter, Ann Pyle, Muncie; two sons, Robert Moore (wife, Alice), Carmel and Terry Moore (wife, Mary), Muncie; eight grandchildren, Doug Pyle (wife, Trudie), Debbie Ford (husband, Rob), Meg Moore, Jeff Moore, Kyle Moore (wife, Sakiko), Natalie Koriath (husband, Blake), Adam Carson (wife, Frankie), and Paul Carson; four great-grandchildren, Andy, Kaycie, Daisy, and Jordan; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 62 years, William "Fred" Moore; and two brothers, Willie and James Horton.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2010, in The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel with Rev. Herb Claar officiating, Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, north of Muncie.
Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Monday or one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Gethsemane United Methodist Church, 1201 W. McGalliard Rd., Muncie, IN 47303.
