Lillie Peckinpaugh, 92, of Hartford City, IN passed away peacefully on June 11, 2007 at her residence. She was born April 13, 1915 in Pulaski County, IN, the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Mary (Hatfield) McFadden.
She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include; three sons, Joseph N. Modglin (wife - Janet) of Houston, TX, John L. Modglin of Muncie, David L. Modglin (wife - Virginia) of Alexandria; one daughter, Vera M. Griffith (husband - Floyd) of Hartford City; grandsons, Robert, Brad, Shane, Chris; granddaughters, Sheryl, Gay, Renee, Penny; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and four sisters.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Friday, June 15, 2007 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie, IN with Chaplin Anette Baker officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 14 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
