Linda Sue (Coates) Trent, age 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital on February 14th, 2024. She was born to parents' Donald J. & Martha L. (Dishman) Coates on September 16th, 1951 in Muncie, Indiana.
Linda loved her dogs and her bingo games.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Jackie Young; son, Steve Corn; siblings, Kathy Anderson, Judy Coates-Walker, Jr. Coats, Teresa Dodd, Tina Green, and Donna Bontempt; 29 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Linda is preceded in death by her sons, Keith and William Corn; and brother, Michael Coates.
The calling hours will be held on February 23rd, 2024 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N St. Rd. 3, Muncie, Indiana 47303, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The funeral service will follow with Bishop Kenneth Dodson officiating. Burial will take place after the funeral service at Gardens of Memory, 10703 N St. Rd. 3 Muncie, Indiana 47303.
