Lois Jane Bricker, 71, of Muncie, died Friday afternoon, August 22nd, 2014 at her residence. She was born February 1st, 1943 in Muncie, and was the daughter of the late James David & Irene Isabell (Moore) Davis.
Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed watching reality TV show''s The Amazing Race and Big Brother. Lois retired in 2013 from IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital as a cashier in the cafeteria. She was a member of the Eagle''s Lodge, where she enjoyed playing bingo. Lois loved to watch her grandsons play little league baseball.
Lois is survived by her two sons'', Russell DeWayne Bricker (Diane) of Louisville, KY, and James Travis Bricker (Sunshine) of Muncie; a granddaughter Hannah Irene Bricker of Portland, IN; two grandson''s Zion James, and Ezra Noel Bricker both of Muncie; a sister Naomi Campbell of Muncie; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Scotty H. Bricker; four brothers, William " Bill" Davis, Jerry L. Davis, Gene Davis, and Don Davis; two sisters Wanda (Davis) Asbury, and Ila (Davis) Joslin; and a daughter-in-law Shelley L. Bricker.
Funeral services for Lois will be held Thursday, August 28th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Matt Perdue officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
