Lois Jane Bronnenberg, 93 of Muncie, died early Tuesday morning, August 29, 2017 at Yorktown Manor. Lois was born August 12, 1924 in Muncie and was the daughter of the late Byron J. & Hulda (Scudder) Heaton.
Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was a member of the Women of the Moose #0712. Over the years Lois enjoyed roller skating where she met the love of her life, bowling, crocheting, knitting, playing bingo, square dancing and wintering in Florida.
Lois is survived by her loving daughter Beth Wilson (B.K.) of Muncie; five grandchildren Christina Martzall of Muncie, Kim Torres of Apopka, FL, Amy Townsend (Phil) of Muncie, Travis Martzall of Muncie and Amber Henderson of Murfreesboro , TN; ten great-grandchildren MiKayla Watters (Zachary), MaKenzie Townsend, Jalen, Gabriella and Kiara Henderson, Taylen and Taryn Martzall, Remi Torres, Chase and Emily Howard; a brother Marvin D. Heaton (Peggy) of Piggott, AR; several nephews and nieces also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert M. "Bob" Bronnenberg in 2015; their daughter Tresha Covey in 2017.
Funeral Services for Lois will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Kirchoff officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
