Lola M. (Smith) Vaughn, 78 of Muncie, IN passed away on July 6, 2012. She was born May 21, 1934 in Morehead, KY the daughter of the late Charlie Richard and Mary (Douglas) Smith. She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) for Williamsburg Village and various other nursing homes where she cared for many. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Vaughn, a son David A. Vaughn and numerous brothers and sisters. Lola is survived by her children, Samuel Joe Vaughn,William E. (Sherry) Vaughn., James A.Vaughn, Charles H. Vaughn, Janice L. (Tommy)Standard; her sister, Yvonne Vaughn; her grandchildren, Tim Vaughn, Tammy Walters, Deacon Vaughn, Brandy Harding, Elly Vaughn, Emily Vaughn, Billy Vaughn, Brian Breese, Kimberly Overholser, Melissa Barnett, Christopher Kirk, Joshua Kirk, Keith Boyles, Ashley Coleman, Erin Bruening, and Devin Vaughn; several great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be Monday (07/09/12) from 12 Noon until service time at 1pm at Garden View Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the IU Health Ball Memorial Hospice.
