Lorraine Ann Carter died June 2, 2018, age 94.

Lorraine was born to Mary and Joseph Busa in Chicago, IL on March 11, 1924.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Lester.

Lorraine is survived by her children:  Carolyn (Richard) Gehlbach, Mary (George) Conlon, Judith (William) Belt, Christopher (Robin), and Brian Anthony (Amy) Carter; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on June 6, 2018 at 11:00 .a.m., at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 820 E. Charles St., Muncie.  Viewing will be held beginning at 10:00a.m. before Mass.

The Rite of Committal will follow at the Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Heart Association or to St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

The family would especially like to thank the staff at Elmcroft Assisted Living Facility for their kindness, compassion and very loving care of Lorraine, especially in her final days.  They are truly wonderful caregivers.
