Louis R. May Sr., 83 passed away Monday March 20, 2017 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer and diabetes.
Louis was born in Breman, IN on September 17, 1933 to Arthur O and Vera (McFaddin) May. He graduated from Eaton High School in 1951.
Louis worked at Delco in Muncie for over 30 years. He also worked at Roetken Apple Orchard. Louis loved to hunt, fish and metal detect.
Louis is survived by his wife of 8 years, Pat (Thomas) May, his children; Kathy (Gordin) Swegman of Muncie, Louis May Jr. of Stedman, NC., Ronald May of Muncie, Steven (Krista) May of Zanesville, IN., a stepdaughter Debbie Shafer of Muncie, 7 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, one sister Jean Clevenger of Gas City, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 47 years Wanda, his parents, a brother Arthur May and brother-in-law John Clevenger.

Funeral services will be held at Garden View Funeral Home on Thursday, March 23,2017 at 1:00 PM. Friends may call from 11:00 AM Thursday until the time of service.
